Guess who's going to the @12thperigeeball! Kimaoi figured to go with a simple silk champagne gown. She's a little unsure of how everyone is going to think of her. But feeling a little better once she gets some make up on her spots . And being able spend the evening with Luxura @mortuo-trolls for her date would make this night perfect.

And the ones who are going are Calice, Pohkin, Kotton, and Rafina. I can't wait to get to work on their outfits.

Trying again (Lux and Kim date night)

Looking at herself in the mirror, taking a deep breath. Figuring her old karaoke outing dress would have to do. Having gotten rid of some of her nicer dresses due thanks to the memories they held from the ex matesprite. She didn’t want to wear something that reminds her of the past. This was supposed to be a new start, at least she hoped so. Kimaoi was afraid how this date was going to go down. It’s been forever since she’s in the red rom dating scene. All sorts of thoughts were running through her mind. What if he finds her boring or weird, or if he thinks she has weird taste of food or fun. Or what if he wants to kiss her and she had a panic attack or if he wants to push her into further into a make out session?  No she can’t let herself fall into that situation where she’s just a toy to someone to be thrown away again or worse, maybe this date was a bad idea. She should just call Luxura and call the night off and focus on work. 

Shaking her head furiously trying to get the thoughts out of her head. No, no she can’t let her anxiety take over her life again. It nearly ended her life because it ruled her life. This is Luxura, sure he’s big and scare to others but..He wouldn’t hurt her would he? He’s extremely sweet, dorky, has a cute smile with and without the mask. Having strong protective arms that made her feel safe, a warm feeling that has melted her worries away.  She had to try and see if this is really meant to be for them both. If this really the one she belongs with for the rest of her life span. 

 Glancing over at the clock, it was almost time for Luxura to be arriving at her apartment door.  Kimaoi was praying he could find the apartment number okay. Glancing over at the sleeping guiena pig lusus sleeping on the couch. Thinking he’s going to be fine with her dating again, she just hoped he won’t be scared of Luxura.Putting on the last bit of her make up as Kimaoi made sure she had everything for this night. As she puts her purse over her shoulder as she waited for the knock at the door.

Quick Fire Facts about the muses!

There is more facts about the trolls but these are the only facts I can tell you without spoiling their whole backstories. Calice Wahron 

.Calice makes her own paints at home by mixing flowers,precious stones and clay hence the name dirt paintings or rivercolors.

 Calice is highly allergic to salt water, because of her genetic mutation of an olive with sea dweller gills and fins.

 Her horns are based off the clovers of the bermuda buttercup or the buttercup oxalis that grow in winter months in the state I’m in and they’re my favorite flower.  While her design is slightly based on the book Winds in the willow. 

 Calice’s sign is the mun’s homestuck zodiac sign. 

Eponia Hompis 

 Eponia was originally a ship baby between two canon characters that the mun no longer ships. But still show a little bit of the ship what she was formally was once in a while whenever interacting with others or in rps.

 Yes the mun is fully aware she’s been writing Eponia’s name like this ‘Epoina’ she’s just too lazy to fix it now. 

Eponia’s current  design was originally adopt  for a flower theme of  trolls. Her flower  being irises. But I fell in love with her design and kept her. 

Eponia can make extremely fluffy jiggly  grubcakes aka pancakes which she often sees as a failure. 

Kimaoi Midria

Like Eponia Kimaoi was going to be a grubling adoption, her design was a bronze grub with vitiligo and rabbit tail. But I decided to scrap the bunny tail and keep Kimaoi for myself.

 Kimaoi’s name is the combination of kimo kawaii meaning and please correct me if I am wrong in the comments. It looks a little creepy but cute.

 If you guys hadn’t noticed Kimaoi had a few scars on her legs, meaning she had self harmed herself in the past, due to having dealt with depression and had trauma with abuse. And still recovering at her own pace to self love again.

Like the words for her name, Kimaoi loves everything spooky and scary. Basically halloween is her Christmas. She loves it and finds what we see as big scary monsters to Kimi she sees puppy. ( The mun is no better if facing monsters or dinosaurs and willing to call them puppies)

Kotton Poplus

Kotton is at this moment is one of two  out of the ask group that has their pale quadrant filled.

Kotton was suppose to be a ship baby from two canon characters but got scrapped and the mun doesn’t ship anymore. But like Epoina, it's hinted who they were who turned Kotton into a clown loving puffball who doesn’t know too much of the rules between limes and purples.

 Kotton’s name is the combination of Kitten and Cotton Candy, Hence why she appears to be extremely hyper and overly positive to some situations. 

Kotton and her morial are the youngest of the adults trolls, both being 8.77 aka 19 years old. And yes she is the party girl of the cast.

Mariot Lotora

Mariot is the only one out of the group at this moment who has their red quadrant filled and is the mama of Macleo.

 Mariot’s name is the combination of two Agatha Christie's characters miss Marple and Hercules Poirot.

Mariot had gone through probably the most design changes out of the group currently. 

Is the main mom friend of the group to make sure the younger jades in the caverns are not sneaking off or bringing something back to the caverns. This goes double with the ask cast too.

Mairuz Panais 

 Mairzu is one of my oldest oc characters, not by age but who came first in the large group when being created. he, Nefiri and Rafina were the big ogs before everyone else was created.  And went through a massive design and character change before making his appearance on the blog. 

Mairzu’s name is a play on words of the italian almond  candy marzipan.

Whenever Mairzu becomes scared or excited he would start to smell like someone’s favorite candy for the whole day. This is from an inside joke me and a friend have about Mairzu due to his namesake.  

Whenever Mairzu becomes flustered or has a crush on someone will do the goofy’s very loudly hyuck. He is very embarrassed about it.

Nefiri Bastia

Nefiri is from a very long line of huntresses/tribe leaders. Where her traditions is where both eggs from blackrom and redrom are at risk from the other mate in the chief's black and red quadrant. Nefiri’s egg is the only known recorded redrom egg in the bloodline.  

Nefiri is the old lost friend of @ask-swagger-dagger-trolls’s oc Jamari, she is not part of his quadrant. She did had  two of her quadrants filled before losing them to a rival tribe forcing her into exile.  Making her quadrants empty.

 If she really likes you, Nefiri will lick your cheek or rub her head against you much like how a big cat greets their keeper. Or full on big cat hug which she tends to forget how strong she is at times. And if Nef has red feelings to someone she will bring dead animals and extremely affectionate to them. 

Nefiri does not know how modern society works at all. If you put her in a city setting, she will become extremely tense and nervous about it. Hell she is kinda the reason if someone has some sort of new tech and its someone she’s close to. Yeah.. She’ll see it as a threat and will destroy it. 

Nixiie Apilon 

 Nixiie has a babyface, meaning she is easily mistaken to be younger than her actual age. She is 10.62 aka 23 in human years at this moment since her wiggling day is in the spring.

To Nixiie she sees any jade in caverns she’s in as family/teachers. For example @princeofdoomrps Viktor, Nixiie calls him a teacher if she knows he is not part of her cavern while with @faithlines ‘s Lacuna she is not sure in that department so big sister teacher. And feels extremely guilty if a higher authority jade sees her and she thinks she’s in trouble like anyone of us would towards our own family,teachers or bosses fearing we will be punished or be a disappointment to them.

Nixiie’s name is the combination of Pixie and Nymph two magical creatures of folklore and her horns and wings are based off of the lunar moth. But went through a lot of design changes before taking in another grub adopt and turn it into Nixiie today. And like a moth to a flame if Nixiie sees something new or is extremely excited she will go after it.  

Nixiie doesn't eat meat, she will drink troll blood but will not touch anything that is made from an animal. She’s pretty much the vegan girl of the group.

Pohkin Boines 

Pohkin wears a corset under her clothes and will deny it if someone asks if she does wear it. This goes double for the weave. And bust size. 

Pohkin was held to a high standard by her lusus when being raised  to become a regel and lady of high blood society  and look down at her fellow low caste even in her own. 

Pohkin carries around a very sharp and large syringe and will use it on anyone she either deems as a riff raff or a threat. However she’s not that strong. Cunning yes, but has no muscles. 

Pohkin is at this moment tends to scare the mun and bullies me often whenever something silly comes her way. For example being put in an outfit like idk a chicken suit or something that shows way too much skin.

Rafina Uymumi

 Rafina is a run away troll, to get away from her overly controlling lusus. She ran away and joined the circus sort of speak.

She is extremely flexible, able to bend and  walk on her hands with ease and stay that way for a while before standing on her feet again. 

Originally Rafina was going to be a shut in underwater  writer for her blog for fantasy stories, but I didn’t think that would be a good fit for her. I wanted to give her the little mermaid story where Ariel wanted to go to the human world for her own means and not for a prince. But, still writes just for herself and refuse to show it to anyone.

 Rafina’s performances either contains  acrobatics gymnastics,belly dances or pole dances. Depending what’s on the line up or who’s the audience for the evening.

With Nefiri being accepted into Jamari’s clan ( @ask-swagger-dagger-trolls) , she learned what happened between the clan involving owls and the rabbits. Now having the mind set to protect the village from anything owl or rabbit to show her thanks for being taken in. However, now she sees Kimaoi and Pohkin as rabbits due to their horn shaped and apparently scent even though Pohkin has high priced perfume and Kimaoi just been around her guinea pig lusus. Hopefully Nefiri would realize the girls are trolls not rabbits soon.

After seeing a lot of ‘what the muses look like as babs’ I thought it would be fun to draw a few of my babs when they were three sweeps, first two I deiced to go with are  Kimaoi and Nefiri. They turned out super cute! Let me know who else you want to see as babs beans. It was really fun drawing them up :3

Hiding from the new girl

Eponia, Kimaoi, Mairzu, Calice and Mariot are currently hiding behind a desk.

"Route" + KIMMMMMM

You wandered into a little bit rough part of the downtown area of this planet. You haven’t explored this area before. You wandered into a store that somehow had large amount of fabrics in rows and other sewing supplies. You wandered down the long winding street until you caught the eyes of a few cerulean bloods who were going to jump you. Having looked past your shoulder you made a run for it only when you run a sharp corner crashing into someone. Causing you both to fall to the ground with a hard thud. 

“  ¥Ouch! What the hell!  ¥”

Still a little dizzy yourself, you realize you had a paper bag over your head lifting it up slightly to see several groceries and now busted what appear to be vsh tape on the ground. As your eyes travel upwards to see a light grey spotted hand reaching out to you. Attached to the hand was what looked like to you a bronze blood with very long horns resembling a bunny’s covered in dark and light grey spots. 

“ ¥ Are you alright? Here let me help you up ¥” 

The cerulean gang were still coming around the corner trying to find you, threatening to beat your ass. If you stay, its likely to go after the nice girl if you don’t do something and fast.

What should you do?

There’s no time, its time for you to run now! You grabbed the troll’s hand and booket to the nearest what you could tell as a subway. The bronze nearly tripped while running with your equally short legs self. You are not sure where this train would take you. But the bronze noticed the situation almost upon you. Quickly she dragged you onto the train right when the doors closed behind you. Breathing hard as she looked around to see they were alone in the car. Then her eyes looked at you.

’ ¥ Huh, and I thought I have a weird looks…So much for a quiet night at home right? ¥”

After settling down in your seats you both talked for a while getting to know each other. Hearing even her own caste see her as something that has a strange disease when in actuality it’s harmless. As well her name was Kimaoi Midira, a underground fashion designer and clothes maker.   When you both got off the train, and leave the station. The bronze noticed there’s a karaoke building near by.

“  ¥Hey since you’re kinda stuck with me for a while, I doubt those thugs would leave you alone. Wanna come with me to critteroke? Drinks on me and it’s a decent place to hide out in until the assholes lose interest in searching for you. ¥

Though when you two enter the building, a group of teals and their dates brush past you two. Whispering loudly while the bronze gets the room and snacks ready. 

Teal having his arm around a gold blood : Holy shizs, isn’t that the bunny horn slut Nincoc pailed sweeps ago?

The second teal: I heard she went psycho on his ass and he had to throw her out of his hive after a small while they were in a red quadrant. He left her because she was pailing several other highbloods in his hive!

Teal with gold: Nah, I heard she’s really loose, Nincoc treated her like a empress only to show her true colors after they pailed a few times, thats what happens you quadrant a mutant, they’re all messed up in the think pan.

Second teal: I don’t know.. maybe if we paid her we could have some fun with her tonight.

These guys were talking not too nice things about your girl! But she seems so nice, and sweet. Who the fuck are these guys think they are smearing her name around making her sound like a bad person.  You wanted to make these bastards pay, really yell at them for talking bad about your new potential friend, but you don’t want to cause a scene.

When she was going to your side, Kimaoi over hears the teals bullshit talk about her. She stayed quiet as she gripped your hand. Right time to make your escape to get to the room. You can’t let these assholes get to your friend and you lead Kimaoi to a random room. Pulling her into a tight hug, it’s not your place or the right time to bring up things from the past. Kimaoi pulling away for a moment cleaning away some bronze tears.

¥  Thank you, normally guys who want to hang out with me ,would start demanding questions about what those assholes had said or want to see if I am slut which I am not..Let’s just say they’re friends of my former ex matesprite…Let’s just say the ex wasn’t that nice to me. And when we broke up, his friends started to spread rumors about me. I never cheat or will do that to my quadrants…It really messed me up.. ¥

Kimaoi looks like she’s fighting back tears and her body shaking, before taking a deep breath and wiping away her tears. Giving you a warm smile.

¥  But, I’m okay! Really I am.. Now let’s get this party started! ¥

Both of you sung through out the night both good and badly to any song on shuffle. Drinking and laughing with each other.  Even at one point dancing on the room’s coffee table to the sound of what sounded like Whitney Houston? Small world you never thought 80s pop would be a thing on this planet. Winning the heart of a friend in need.

Will this lead to romantic shenanigans and eventually friendship at the very long sparkling rainbow.  Just like in those japanese cartoon shows you’ve seen. 

Nope, when you broke the kiss, immeadly the bronze smacked you in the face and then  knead your in the junk. You fell to the ground in pain as the bronze frowned with her arms crossed staring daggers at you.

¥ What the fuck! Just because I’m the worst combination the caverns had spit out of, doesn’t mean I’m some loose nook to be toyed with! Get lost creep!¥

The bronze turned around in a huff as she stormed off down another direction. From your lonely ass, dang it. You lost an interesting looking friendship.

When they left, Kimaoi was fully bright bronze color in the face. When you asked where the room. 

¥ Yeah..Actually…I’m going to head home..I’ve already ordered the drinks for you…Have fun okay?…And please don’t follow me…I ..I don’t feel like singing tonight.. ¥

And with that, Kimaoi stormed off out of the building. Looking furious as she disappear from sight. Leaving you to sing the motel heartbreak blues of loosing a friendship.
